Sweden and Norway discussions focused on green technology, renewable energy, innovation and sustainability partnerships, while the Netherlands engagements highlighted semiconductor cooperation, agriculture technology and water management expertise.
The final leg of the visit in Italy included bilateral talks with Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, where both leaders discussed defence cooperation, industrial partnerships, clean energy and broader India-Europe strategic collaboration.
The tour is being viewed as a major diplomatic outreach reinforcing India’s growing role in global trade, technology and geopolitics. Analysts say the engagements are expected to strengthen India’s access to investment, advanced technologies, clean energy cooperation and strategic partnerships across Europe and the Gulf region.
The visit also highlighted India’s continued push to position itself as a leading global economic power and a trusted international partner under the vision of “Viksit Bharat.”
