The eighth edition of the Bloomberg New Economy Forum 2026 is set to take place in New Delhi from October 13 to 15 under the theme, “A World in Play: Defining the New Levers of Power.”
The forum will bring together more than 500 global leaders, including heads of state, business executives, financiers, innovators and policy experts, to examine the forces reshaping the world economy, technology, geopolitics and future growth.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will participate alongside international leaders and industry figures, highlighting India’s growing role in shaping the future global economic order.
Emphasising India’s transformation, Modi said the country is no longer merely a destination for investment but has become a trusted partner in defining the global future. He noted that India is working toward becoming one of the world’s most reliable growth engines while contributing to a balanced global economic order under the vision of “Viksit Bharat.”
The Prime Minister added that participants attending the forum in India would witness the energy of a nation actively shaping the new economy rather than simply participating in it.
The event is expected to strengthen India’s global economic positioning and further highlight its expanding influence in international trade, technology, innovation and strategic policymaking.
